About Super PISuper PI is a single threaded benchmark that calculates pi to a specific number of digits. It uses the Gauss-Legendre algorithm and is a Windows port of a program used by Yasumasa Kanada in 1995 to compute pi to 232 digits. ThreadingSuper PI is a single threaded benchmark ideal for testing pure, single threaded x86 floating point performance and while most of the computing market has shifted towards multithreaded applications and more modern instruction sets, Super PI still remains quite indicative of CPU capability in specific applications such as computer gaming. Hardware InformationSuper PI retreives most hardware information thanks to CPUz. It retreives CPU information such as clock speed, code name, cache size, voltage, etc. It retreives the motherboard model and the amount, speed and timings of your memory. LicenseSuper PI was originally developed by the University of Tokyo and is freeware. Super pi 1.x WP was developed by wPrime systems and is also freeware, which means you can download it, distribute it, host it, etc without any need for my consent. I do ask though, that you provide a link to this website if you choose to host it, etc. |
